Qualifications: NCCP level 1; level 2 (theory & technical), NCCP Introduction to Competition (Certified), World Rugby Level 2
Bio: George started playing rugby at Monarch Park S.S. and club rugby with the Toronto Barbarians in the late ‘60s. Moving out west in 1977, played for Fort McMurray. Also played in Kaduna (Nigeria), and with the Calgary Hornets. Also made several appearances with Cambuslang RFC (Glasgow, Scotland). Coaching career started at the high school level in Calgary and with the Hornets U-17s and U-19s. Also coached at the senior level in Fort McMurray, winning the Alberta 3rd divisional title in 1992. He was also a guest rugby instructor for high school phys. ed. classes in Fort McMurray. Returned to Ontario in 2008 and, after having a brief stint with Brock RFC, U-16s came back to the Barbs and coached with the U-15/16 Boys in 2011/12; has been the U-14 Boys coach since 2013.

Bio: Nico is a lifelong rugby player starting at a young age in South Africa and played for about 20 years. He played wing (11/14), Full-Back (15), Fly-Half (10), Scrum-Half (9) and most of his career at Flank (6/7). He is extremely passionate about the great game of rugby. He made his way back to rugby, after coaching Rep Soccer for a few years. He has two kids playing rugby, a daughter on the U15/U16 team and a son on the U12 team.

Bio: John is currently the head coach of the St. Theresa of Lisieux Lions Midget Boys and has been a coach with the Aurora Barbarians since 2008. All of John’s sons have played for the Barbs including his youngest who he currently coach. Along with coaching Rugby, John has been coaching minor hockey in Aurora for years.
