Flag Rugby

The Minor rugby program is designed to introduce young players to the very basics of rugby. Practices and games focus on running, passing, sportsmanship and above all else, having fun.

U8 and U10 age groups play co-ed, non-contact flag rugby.

The Minor Rugby program will begin, weather permitting, after the May long weekend. Practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm-7:00pm at St. Maxilmillian Kolbe Catholic High School in Aurora. Players are encouraged to wear rugby jerseys to practice and they are reminded to wear mouth guards and cleats.

These age groups compete in festivals, held on Saturday or Sunday mornings starting in early June and finishing in late August. Each festival is hosted by a rugby club in the GTA with playing beginning around 9 am and ending by noon.

Registration can be arranged by contacting the Director of Junior Men's Rugby or the Try Rugby Dayl
