Wednesday Casual Curling (WCC)

Every Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. all interested people (especially seniors) meet for a game of curling.  Both men and women play after teams are created for that day.  The game is followed up with coffee, soup and desserts upstairs.  Members play for free and non-members pay only $7.00.  It’s a good way to introduce friends to the sport of curling.  Come out and join the crowd! Friday Morning Seniors (NDSCA)

Every Friday morning senior men from the Welland Curling Club compete against teams from the other three clubs in the area for social curling.  The games are rotated weekly amongst the four clubs.  At the end of the year all meet for the final banquet and a few drinks.  It’s a great way to meet other fellow curlers and to play at other clubs.  Contact Dave Stark at (905) 714-0791 if you are interested for the 2010-11 season.

Thursday (fun) League Curling:  The TLC League

Teams or individuals looking to be placed on a team are invited to take part in a ‘fun’ curling league being played every other Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Sign up during open house. The first game will be played on October 28th.  See Dave Stark if you have any questions.
